We plan our days, our careers, and even our lives in neat, orderly sequences. It’s like we’ve been trained to think in straight lines — making plans for our days, plotting our careers, and shaping our lives in sequences, as if life is a checklist.

But lately, I’ve started to see things a bit differently. The world’s changing, and with it, maybe our way of thinking should too.

As the world evolves, it’s becoming clear that this linear way of thinking might not always be the best approach.

Instead, there’s a growing shift towards holistic thinking, a way of seeing the bigger picture, beyond just the next step.

Take the workplace, for example. We’re so used to the traditional, hierarchical setup — a boss at the top, employees in layers beneath. It’s structured, predictable.

But also, kind of limiting, right? That’s where I stumbled upon this concept of holacracy.
