We get comfortable in our little realities. We build them up over years, brick by brick. Our beliefs, our habits, our ways of seeing the world. It becomes our cozy little home.
But here’s the thing about homes: Sometimes, you outgrow them.
And that’s what’s happening now. To you. To me. To a whole lot of us.
Growth is messy. It’s uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s downright painful. Ask any teenager going through puberty.
You might find yourself questioning everything. Your job, your relationships, your purpose. Things that used to make sense suddenly don’t. Things you never noticed before are suddenly very..very.. obvious.
We’re collectively hitting a growth thrust, but instead of our bodies, it’s our consciousness that’s stretching.
Sounds great, right? Well, yes and no.
The truth is, this can feel like you’re being torn apart. Like everything you thought you knew is crumbling around you. And in a way, it is.
You’re basically rewiring your entire reality. That’s not going to be a smooth ride.
It can be the most traumatizing thing you’ll ever experience.
Actually, that’s not true…it FEELS traumatizing, but the truth is that all your limited beliefs and traumas are just rising to the surface so you can finally feel them without surpressing them any longer.
So if you’re feeling lost, confused, or like you’re falling apart, congratulations.
You might just be awakening to a new reality forming in front lf you. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real.
And trust me, weird as it is, you wouldn’t want it any other way, especially when you finished a “growth phase” and realize what you went through was happening for you, not to you!
