Let's have a heart-to-heart. We've all been there, grappling with emotional pain that just doesn't seem to let go.
For me, it's a certain vulnerability around people, stemming from past hurts that have left me wary.
I used to think this was just something to work around, like avoiding a pothole on the road.
Article Reccomendation: You Are Shifting and You Know It
You are going through a major shift. A shift in consciousness. A shift in your perceptions. A shift in your reality.medium.com
But pain isn't exclusive to the emotional realm. A bad back, a persistent headache—these too can drag us down.
Sounds familiar?
The Hidden Magic of the Pain Body
Here's where it takes a turn. Eckhart Tolle introduced me to the idea that this pain body isn't just something to push away or dread.
It can actually be the fuel for something far more profound—presence. Now, I won't go all metaphysical on you, but the concept itself is surprisingly simple and undeniably transformative.
I've found that if you stop running and allow yourself to really feel that pain, something magical happens.
It becomes a pathway to heightened awareness, like an express elevator taking you to the peaceful, loving and joyful suite of consciousness.

My Trick for Transforming Pain Into Presence
There's a small trick I've started doing when I feel that familiar tightness of the pain body creeping in:
I yawn.
Yeah, I know it sounds strange, but there's something about a deliberate yawn that just opens you up, releases some of that emotional tension.
And sometimes, that simple act makes tears come out. But these aren't just any tears; they're like a cleansing ritual for the soul.
To start, try to really feel into the pain you feel somewhere in your body. Then, after a few minutes of feeling, try to open your mouth and yawn.
This might take some presence and also a few minutes, but sooner or later, a yawn will come out:)
So, what comes out the other end of this experience? That's the beautiful part.
The fear, the pain, they start to dissolve, and in their place, I find presence. Suddenly, I'm not just a bundle of anxieties and past hurts; I'm here, right now, fully aware and alive.
This world, with all its chaos and beauty, comes into a crisper focus, and I realize I'm more than the sum of my pains and fears.

You can’t quite put your finger on it, but you know that something has changed and is changing.medium.com
Try it. The next time that weighty pain body starts pulling you down, don't fight it. Don't run. Stay right there and feel it.
Then watch as it transforms into something far more powerful—pure, radiant presence.
I can't promise it'll work for everyone, but for me, it's been nothing short of a revelation.
And who knows? It might just be the game-changer you've been waiting for.
