How to Stay Grounded in the Whirlwind of Time (This Message Is for You!)
This simple concept will transform how you see life — no going back.
Hello everyone, welcome to this new post. This morning, during meditation, I had a clear vision. I felt inspired to share it. It’s about the “whirlwind of time.” I’ll explain it briefly. (See the drawn image down below)
This concept might clarify things for you. Personally, it has deepened my understanding. Let’s dive in.
Picture a whirlwind. It’s like those in galaxies. It also appears in nature, like seashells or cyclones.
This whirlwind symbolizes our external world. It reflects time and changing reality.
This includes people, situations, and emotions. Everything is in constant flux.
People come and go. So do situations and emotions. They flow in and out of our awareness. Life is always changing.
Now, at the centre of this whirlwind, there’s something constant. It’s what lies beyond change. It’s our awareness. This awareness observes without getting attached to external events. It embodies the present moment.
That’s why I drew a stick figure. It’s leaning on the whirlwind, watching the changing world. You, too, are this constant awareness. You observe the changing reality.
If your mind is always busy, you might feel tossed around by life. It can feel like life isn’t on your side. Trying to control everything adds to this feeling. We often cling to people, situations, and emotions. We aim to avoid change.
This leads to being tossed around by the whirlwind. If you cling to people, you will struggle. Peace becomes elusive. Things come and go. Holding on tight leads to pain when they leave.
Yet, you can always return to what remains constant. This constant is always present. Initially, it might stir up emotions and situations. But, it’s crucial to let them pass. This brings you closer to your centre.

Nice video Tobias!!
Great description of the very practical practice of being grounded … centered … healthily detached from the spinning world . A birthright for each of us … really … but needing rediscovery by each of as after we first grow up forgetting it!
