I don’t know about you, but for me, these attractions feel almost… familiar. Like I’m remembering something I’ve forgotten.
Maybe it’s tapping into something in your subconscious. A story your grandparents told, a movie you loved as a kid, or some part of yourself you haven’t fully explored yet.

In a similar but different vein, there are certain places/countries to which I cannot travel (Western Canada and Australia for example). I guess you would describe it as a feeling of fear, but certainly nothing could induce me to travel there. Similarly flat, prairie-like landscapes and conversely, mountainous areas with rocky outcroppings almost paralyse me. There is absolutely nothing to relate these fears and feelings to in this lifetime so I believe they must be bleed through from a past or alternate life.
